Buddy Rider Series 2
The new design features adjustments for front and back positioning right on the bucket itself, offering more extensive flexibility compared to Series 1, which relied on holes on the metal deck for positioning.
Series 2 employs sturdy M6 bolts and nuts to secure the bucket to the metal support deck, a substantial upgrade from the M4 fasteners used in Series 1.
Unlike Series 1, Series 2 incorporates nutwells within the bucket, providing a receptacle for the nuts rather than permanently embedding them.
Series 2 introduces an adjustable paw deck that can be easily raised or lowered to suit your needs.
The latest iteration boasts a sleeker and more compact metal deck for improved aesthetics and functionality.
The Buddyrider®, dog bike carrier, is designed for dogs between 2.75kg (6lbs) and 11.34kg (25lbs) with as much flexiblity as possible. Dogs, like humans, come in all different shapes and sizes, because of this some dogs will fit better than others. The combination of the weight range, interior Buddyrider® dimensions and the collar size will help you make a decision whether your buddy is likely to fit.

The Buddyrider® seat is 30.48cm (12") long x 15.24cm (6.5") wide x 24.13cm (9.5") tall. It was orginally designed with a Parsons Terrier in mind (read our origin story here), but is flexible to fit a range of small dogs.

This is our second Buddy Rider. We have been using the Buddy Rider with our first dog for 6 years and he loves it. He weighs 18 lbs. We are excited to use the second carrier with our new pup. We bought the one with the padded seat as she is only 10 lbs. I took her for a short ride and she seems to love it as well. We like to use the Buddy Rider when we go camping as it works great for long bike rides. My first dog loves it so much that when he sees a bike he assumes that he is going for a ride and waits to be lifted onto the bike.
