The Buddyrider™ Bicycle Pet Seat is a fun way to safely take your dog along with you on a bike ride. Unlike other bicycle dog carriers on the market such as the more traditional front mounted bike basket for dogs, and any rear mounted dog seat, Buddyrider™ is mounted over the centre of the bike so the extra weight has virtually no effect on handling. For larger breeds the dog trailer is ideal, but for smaller dogs weighing up to 11.5kg (25 pounds) there is no better alternative than the Buddyrider™.

Will the Buddyrider fit my bike?

1: With the Buddyrider attached you must mount and dismount the bike gentleman style even on a "ladies" step through bike.
Make sure you can touch the ground while seated.
2: If your bike has a suspension seat post, this must be replaced with a rigid seat post so that the Buddyrider is mounted high enough both for fit, and your comfort. They are available at most bike stores.
3: If you have a carbon fiber or titanium seat post you must replace it with an aluminum or steel seat post.

Riding my bike is so much more fun now that my Shih-poo can ride along. Maggie sits securely, comfortably and perfectly still while enjoying the ride. She is always in my peripheral vision. Setting up the seat was easy and intuitive and only required minor adjustments to create a perfect fit on my electrified hybrid bicycle. It's hard not to smile as passing cars turn look.
Haven’t got on the trails yet but getting Sammy use to the seat at home and he loves it!
This is the best dog seat ever. I have a very nervous toy poodle and she loves it!
Update: After having this for 10 months. I can now say she absolutely loves going for bike rides. We take her on very long rides with no complaints.
Best item for our 18lbs Westiepoo. He loves coming for bike rides now. He fits perfectly in it. Easy to attach to the bike as well.
