HOW TO COOK SOUS-VIDE
- Thaw the frozen raw meal in its original packaging in the fridge for at least 12 hours.
- Warm up a pot of water or a slow cooker until it's gently bubbling at around 135°F.
- Ensure there's enough water to cover the raw food package fully.
- Place the unopened, thawed raw food package in the pot or slow cooker and cook on low for 30 to 45 minutes.
- Once done, remove the tray from the water and transfer it to a container. Open the tray using the easy-peel tab and mix the meat (and all the delicious juices).
SAFETY & HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
- Keep product frozen until ready to use.
- Defrost the package in a leak-proof container (this reduces the risk of cross-contamination!) and leave it in the refrigerator for 24 hours or until soft.
- We recommend serving in a stainless steel bowl, as it is easier to clean and does not have surface pores that may collect bacteria.
- After 20 minutes, partially eaten food should be returned to the refrigerator.
- Wash hands, utensils, and all contact surfaces with soap and hot water.
- Poultry should not be kept longer than 2 days.
- Red meats & fish should not be kept longer than 3 days.
