Puppy Class


Back by popular demand: Puppy Class! Jake is back to help you with all your puppy training needs from tackling potty training to mouthing to basic cues.

Join his class starting in April on Wednesday nights for 5 weeks of puppy training. Suitable for any dogs 12 weeks to 6 months old. There are only 5 spots available.

Puppies are a lot of fun, and sometimes a little too much fun! If you’re feeling overwhelmed, Jake can help.

Jake got his start with animals working at the SPCA Summer Day camps teaching kids to care for their pets. While doing this Jake also began to take an interest in psychology while attending UBC. It was a natural fit for Jake to take his passion for animals and psychology and turn it towards teaching humans how to teach their pets. These days, Jake mentors our retail team on how to educate clients in store. When he's not training dogs Jake loves to cook, listen to music and wrestle with the 2 little ones.

First Visit (Virtual) $120

Designed to allow Jake to get to know you, your dog's history, and to learn some theory all from the comfort of your own home.

We recommend an in-person training session only once this virtual consultation has been completed in order to be able to work on more practical activities rather than theory.
Follow Up (In Person) $120

Get in person support after your first virtual session.

Practical pointers and practicing with Jake there to walk you through the steps.

Pack Walk

A 1hr neighbourhood walk to work on leash walking skills, led by a Coach!

Get tips, support, and an opportunity to practice in a more controlled environment.

We start from our store at Yukon and 8th Ave, with a route in mind, which will rotate weekly until we find our favourites as we navigate our new neighbourhood. 

We recommend your dog be at least 6 months old, and able to walk 50 minutes comfortably.

The class is 8 dogs maximum and runs weekly rain or shine except for all statutory holidays. Sign up below!
